This hanging wall calendar is silk printed on hand-torn washi paper, using bright colors and spot gold paint. It features 12 sheets with each month depicting a different animal according to the Chinese zodiac.

As each month passes, you can hand-tear the illustration and use it as a postcard or frameable art.

Echizen craftsmen have a very long history and tradition of paper making and for this calendar, the paper is carefully crafted by hand. Each year the line-up of animals changes according to the Chinese zodiac and are hand drawn.
