Gift Edition Details

The Hobonichi 5-Year Techo Gift Edition is a perfect gift box for the Hobonichi 5-Year Techo. It comes with a specially made embroidered cover, pencil board, and a small card, all neatly arranged in a beautiful box.

Hobonichi created this box with designs by embroidery artist and illustrator iyo okumi. The cover and pencil board are all designed by okumi. The theme of this set is “haconiwa,” which means “miniature garden” in Japanese.

Inside the box is another turquoise blue box that contains the regular small sized Hobonichi 5-Year Techo (2026-2030), its cover, a pencil board, and iyo okumi’s brand card.

Each left-hand page shows the same date across 5 years, and the right-hand page has free space you can fill in. Each daily entry comes with a modest 178 squares for a lower bar for keeping up with entries. The book spans January 1, 2026 to the end of 2030 for a total of five years. The calendars are Monday-start. The book is bound like a dictionary or bible so you can use it without a cover.

5-YEAR TECHO DETAILS

The 5-Year Techo features a page design where you can record five years' worth of the same date on each spread. The left side lines up the same date across five years, and the right side has a grid pages for notes. Whether you write daily entries, paste things in, or write a lot in detail, you'll see your joy grow each year. The PVC cover has a classic, elegant look.
